Top 10 Tuesday: 2016 Releases I Didn’t Get To

I have historically been slow to read ‘new’ releases. I find there can anywhere from one to three years between me adding a yet-to-be-published book to my TBR, and actually getting around to reading it. One of my general priorities this year is to read more front list titles. 2016 gave us a lot of great releases that I have heard so much about, but still haven’t read. Here are 10 2016 releases I want to catch up on this year (links to Goodreads).

I would recommend Before The Fall – it was a neat little thriller, a quick read!

    • Good to know! I liked Hawley’s previous book, The Good Father, so that’s how this one ended up on my radar.

  • The Girl From Everywhere sounds so good. I hope you get to all of these!

The only one on your list I’ve read is Every Heart a Doorway – which I liked, but figured out too quickly. The Children’s HOme and When the Moon was ours look intriguing.

The Girl From Everywhere was on my list this week too!

  • Before the Fall looked really good, but I didn’t have a chance to read that one either. I kind of want to buy a copy of The Evil Wizard Smallbone just because of the cover art. It’s gorgeous!

    • I’ve just started Before the Fall – so far so good! I also like the snowy cover of Smallbone.

Same with The Moon Was Ours. I own it but haven’t read it yet.

    • That one really appeals to me because of the magical realism aspect. Plus I like the blue/purple cover…

Evil Wizard Smallbone and When the Sea Turned to Silver are favorites of mine from last year. I hope you enjoy them!

    • Glad to hear that! I’ve just started chapter three of Smallbone. I’m enjoying it so far.
