From today until next Monday, I’m visiting New York City with my sister. The impetus for this trip is the Tolkien: Maker of Middle-earth exhibit currently on at the Morgan Library. There will be more bookish sight-seeing than just that exhibit, though. I’ll be sure to blog about it when I get back. In the meantime, things will be quiet around here as I was busy completing all my assignments that are due next week and I didn’t find the time to blog. So, see you at the end of the month!
Sounds like a wonderful trip!! I’m jelly on so many levels! 🙂 Have a great time!
Thank-you! I did have a great trip 🙂
The exhibit sounds delightful, looking forward to your thoughts and of course your bookish sight-seeing. Have a wonderful time and hope your weather is nice!!
Thank-you! I had a great trip and will post about it in a few weeks 🙂
I so wish I could come to this but I think the timing is just too tight. I wish it would run through June, then I might have more time. Enjoy and share your experience with us!
Too bad! I recommend the book Tolkien: Maker of Middle-Earth – it essentially duplicates the exhibition from the Bodleian. There’s even a list at the back that lists what was displayed at the Morgan. I plan to have a post up about my trip in a couple weeks.
