March and April Month In Review

Posted 29 April 2022 in month in review /6 Comments

What kept me busy in March and April? Being ill for a couple weeks! Roadtripping to Minneapolis to see my favourite band play with the orchestra, in a concert that was rescheduled from March 2020, whose cancellation was the first sign for me that the pandemic was going to be something serious! (This was a Big Deal, especially as I wasn’t certain we’d be able to make it given Canada’s testing requirement for getting back in the country that was in place til April 1. Concert was March 31, we came back Apr 3.) Searching for an apartment and furniture to go in it! Applying and interviewing for jobs! May looks to be another busy bumpy roady as I actually move into the apartment and head down to Colorado to visit my bff. I shall do my best to get some posts in for Wyrd & Wonder. No promises as to even a semi-regular posting schedule yet, though.

Challenges Check-in

I can’t keep up with Pondathon II and have dropped that challenge.

  • 2022 Support Book Bloggers Challenge
    • No update
  • 2/12 Challenge
    • I have two library books currently checked out towards this challenge. I’m still committed to it!
  • 11/52 middle grade fiction novels
  • 24/100 books read
    • Currently a steady 8 books ‘behind schedule’ but it’s early enough in the year. I think that distance can be made up.
  • 974/971 TBR (No new TBR til April)
    • Whoohoo, I call this a win! Mission accomplished 🥳
