Introduction
I followed a lot of new-to-me blogs in 2020. Then I was largely offline for 2021, so when I started to come back to blogging, I also started to search for more new-to-me blogs in late December/early January. Today’s post features some of the blogs I’ve started to read regularly this year. IIRC, I stumbled across each of these blogs via Twitter (except for Unsolicited Feedback, which Lory @ Entering the Enchanted Castle linked to last month). For each blogger, I’ve listed their blog title, primary focus, and a link to a post I recently enjoyed. Maybe you’ll find one or two new-to-you blogs to add to your reader from this list 🙂
The List
- Henry @ Unsolicited Feedback (non-fiction) – “Around the World in 80 Trees“
- Maryam @ The Curious SFF Reader (scifi/fantasy) – “Ten Books I Wish I Read in 2021“
- Phannie @ The Ginger Bookworm (variety fiction, incl. middle grade) – “Honest June by Tina Wells | Review + Playlist | TBR and Beyond Tour”
- Rosie @ Little Bird Book Blog (speculative fiction) – “All the White Spaces by Ally Wilkes“
- Jessica @ Just Another Teen Reading Books (young adult/middle grade) – “Interview with Esme Symes Smith“
- Lay @ Bookshelf Soliloquies (variety fiction/death books) – “How I Read 30 Books in 31 Days: Lessons from a Reading Challenge”

- Carly @ Delicious Books (variety fiction) – “Review: The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh“
- Ellyn @ Allonsythornrax (young adult) – “series on my TBR i still haven’t read!“
