November 2019 Month in Review

Posted 3 December 2019 in month in review /1 Comment

It’s been awhile since I had a month worth reviewing! If you read my “What Am I Doing Here?” post from last week, you’ll know that I’ve finally settled into a routine this month. Hence all the action on the blog here. I don’t want to rehash what I wrote in that post, so let’s get right to the monthly recap.

Books Finished

  • The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson
  • Refugee by Alan Gratz
  • All the Impossible Things by Lindsey Lackey
  • White is for Witching by Helen Oyeyemi
  • More to the Story by Hena Khan
  • I Can Make This Promise by Christine Day
  • The Book Whisperer by Donalyn Miller

Books Reviewed

Features

  • Mom and I discussed Valour Road, about three Winnipeggers from the same street who were awarded the Victoria Cross during WWI, for Family Reads.
  • I began a new series, which I’m calling A Book Blogger’s Reflections. In part one, I considered how life changes over the past year have impacted by blogging habits and how I want to change that going forward.

Upcoming in December

Not a whole lot. No new releases on my TBR… I know there are many blogging events focused around the holidays and the end of the year, but I don’t participate in any them. I have lots of my own reading and blogging plans, however. I can’t believe I’m entering week of three of successful posting three times a week on specific days…what an achievement, haha.

How was your November? What books, or bookish events, are you looking forward to this month?
