Goals Check-In
Ooh, a new segment for my monthly wrap up…totals are for 2020 except for the first two.
- 10/13 posts written (in January)
- 3/5 middle grade novels read (in January)
- 3/10 rereads
- 2/10+ books with queer rep
- 0/10 graphic novels
- 0/10 works by Indigenous writers
- 0/7 books about/by Tolkien
- 0/5 books with 500+ pages
- 0/60 books on my TBR that I don’t own
- This is the biggest surprise. I may have to adjust this goal. The books I read this month which I didn’t own weren’t already on my TBR ^^;

How was your January? What new books, or bookish events, are you looking forward to this month?
I really love these updates! It’s so nice to see everything presented together
Thank-you! I’m glad to know these posts are interesting to someone else, haha.
Based on your post, Seanan McGuire is obviously an author I need to read! 🙂 Happy February!
How has it been 20 years already since LOTR was first released? I still rewatch those movies and don’t feel like I’ve aged one bit lol!
You’ve had a fabulous January! Sounds like a goal review is a good thing to do if you don’t feel like you’ve progressed much. Hope you have a great February!
Yes!! It’s hard to fathom. I watched them all in theatres at Christmas and it did feel a bit like time travel then. But the story is so timeless.
Thank-you 🙂 I’m hoping this review will help keep focused on what I should prioritize in the following month.
Okay I absolutely LOVE the formatting of your wrap-up post!!! It’s so… clean? I don’t know but it makes my heart happy. It looks like you had a good reading month overall and I hope you are having an amazing February!
Wow, thank-you so much! Receiving a comment like this makes MY heart happy, haha.
OMG your probation critter is adorable. In fact I haven’t seen another like it. You go Jenna. I see I missed a review I’d love to read. It looks like you’re doing well on your goals Jenna. Now if only I got the kick in the rear I need to get in gear. 😉
Awww, thank-you so much! ^^ I love koi so I was excited to create this character. My reading goals are coming along but my blogging goals have quickly fallen to side haha. I hope we both get on track soon 🙂
