Ah, the time of the year when there’s suddenly only two months left but still so many books to read! Actually, I’m pleased with my reading progress this year. I think for the first time in my life I will complete all my yearly reading goals?? Well, I don’t want to jinx it so let’s talk about something else…October was a bit of a weird month for me. I was out of sorts (I kept waking up at 4AM =.=) but now I am back in sorts. The weather here on the west coast was actually splendid and I got in a few lovely autumn bike rides. Only one month of term to go! I finished six books in October, but I was also reading board books, picture books, early readers, etc. for my children’s literature course so you may see some of those in the next couple months…

- A Festival of Ghosts by William Alexander

Sometimes I want to and I do, but sometimes I also feel weird and I don’t…if the comment isn’t too specifically directed at the blogger, then I might. https://t.co/gvZP96XbKY

#MGbooktober day 6 – best cover, ever: Ooh, that’s a tough one! But the first cover that came to mind is Song of the Wanderer by @brucecoville. I have always loved the style and colours; it represents what I love about fantasy. pic.twitter.com/lQghVK32iZ

I have no more 2018 releases on my TBR or events on my radar. Am I missing anything great?
What books, or bookish events, are you looking forward to this month?
