October was a busy month for me! I had lots going on IRL – including my workplace avoiding going on strike four hours before strike deadline, and mountain bike rides every weekend to take advantage of the stunning autumn weather. I am starting to find some balance and routine in my days. Dare I say, I think I will crack more than four posts this month 😯

How was your October? What new books, or bookish events, are you looking forward to this month?
Yeay for finding more balance. It is always a bit hard.
At least a strike was averted. You did great reading! Happy Movember!
You had a fantastic month. Love balance and routine!
Thanks so much Deb!
Oof glad you didn’t end up having a strike but that would’ve been stressful. My October was really good, we had lots of outings to check out new things in the city and enjoy the sun while we have it
Yeah, it was pretty stressful in the two days leading up to it because we kept getting mixed messages from the union vs employer about whether an agreement had been reached 🙃 (That was a screw up on the employer’s end.) But it would have been more stressful had we striked, for sure! Your October looked like a lovely month 😊
